For the cost of what I received I just couldn't pass it up. I've been wanting this type of machine for as long as I could remember. Could never aford a machine like this and now I can because of HSN deal. It works like magic and I just love it. Need lessons on embrodery but that will come soon enough. I'm so thankful for this machine.

This machine does it all with precision. Like another reviewer, I hadn't sewn a stitch in over 30 years and decided to learn how to quilt. I looked at several machines and decided on this one. I found this machine to be very easy to use, and I love all the features it offers. I've been sewing everyday since I received it and I love, love, love it!! The price of this machine with all of the features and accessories that come with it make this a perfect choice. If you love to sew, quilt, and/or embroidery, then this is the one...it does it all.

I haven't done any sewing for 20+ years but now I sew everyday and learning something new everyday too!

WOW! I love this machine. It does everything. I have two other top of the line models from P**FF and B**Y L**K and this one gives them a run for the money. I love the software and how much I can do with it, the stitches are gorgeous and the accessories that came with the Quartet 6000 are unbeatable. I am so happy that I bought this machine. My only regret is that I wish it had come out before I bought my other machines because this machine would have fully sufficed all of my sewing/embroidering needs. Great job Singer!
Great Buy

This is a great machine. Very simple to use. Has numerous formats for embroider and the hoop sizes allows me to use any design. Bobbin holds a lot of thread. This is my first embroidery machine and I was able to use it right out of the box. I highly recommend it.
:( had about a month and need service.

enjoyed many features. taught myself free-motion quilting, used the embrodery features and was having a ball. Went back to ordinary sewing and tried to put the feed-dogs up and it just wouldn't move the fabric. Had to send it to the Tenn. repair center because there wasn't an authorized Singer repair in the whole town of Duluth. I had planned to keep the machine so I threw the box out. MISTAKE. Save the box somewhere so you don't have to pay the packing cost to ship it back.

I was so excited to get the machine. The sewing part did good but when I got to the embroidery part the machine kept pulling out the bobbin case. I tried several things and then the machine just made a big clunk sound and that was it, I had to send it back.

this was my first embroidery machine and I have to say I am very impressed with the ease of use. Set up was easy I called singer with a few questions and can see why they have been labeled "award winning service". The stitch function is perfect bobbin winder is a must have and using the control speed in place of foot pedal is a huge sell The machine is resonably priced I love the abilty to connect to my PC the large screen on PC is a advantage over the LCD screen on other machines The sewing fuctions is very typical of singer high quality overall I have to rate 5 stars my sister is so impressed with my machine she is going to buy one don't hesitate to buy this machine this is my second singer they really stand by there products

I am very happy with the Futura Quartet SEQS-6000. I previously had the Futura 250. The increased hoop sized is a great improvement. I do miss the led display of the 250. The machine is great, the stitching quality is great. This is the easiest threading machine I have ever threaded.

Great stitch quality, even at higher speeds.
I now prefer this over my Janome machine for
embroidery and regular sewing. Slightly noise, can live with that. I am waiting for tutorial CD
to expand my horizons with the many features
for editing and photo embroidery etc. Will add
more as my learning curve increases. Really
easy to layout embroidery with accuracy.
Have had machine for 1 week, can't wait to get
home from work and try new features.

I have only had this machine for 3 days but so far very happy. It runs smoothly and has a lot a nice features. Love the fact that you can wind bobbins while sewing. The hoop attachment is much nicer than previous models. Easy threading and bobbin start. Love the LED light. Still have a lot to learn but am off to a great start. My old machine is 22 years old and still going. It cost me twice what I payed for this one. I wanted the embroidery and quilting capability this machine offered. Hope I get as much enjoyment and reliability from this machine. I let you know what I think farther down the road.

I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THIS MACHINE
Love this machine!
Overall Rating:
Pros: Good Value, Great Features, Easy To Use, High Quality, Added Software On Hsn
Cons: Bobbin Is A Bit Noisey
Recieved this as a Christmas present this year and it is absolutely the best sewing machine I have owned and I have been sewing for over 40 years. Love the embroidery aspect of this machine and that I just use my laptop. The autopunch software is awesome. It was a great value on HSN as it came with the Autopunch, Photostitch, and Font software as well as all the different pressure feet and the sew/cut foot that makes the machine act as a surger. The only thing it didn't come with is the CrossStitch software which I would have really like to have but buying that alone is a little pricey. If you are looking for an "all-in-one" machine, this is the one for you!
My New Best Friend
Overall Rating:
Pros: Great Features, Easy To Use, High Quality
Cons: Can Only Purchase At Hsn.com
I couldn't be happier with my purchase of this machine. I am new to machine embroidery, but what I have tried was successful and there are alot of web sites that have great information for beginners. For regular sewing, this machine is so easy to use for both big and small jobs. Threading and bobbin winding is a breeze. Just to be able to have the needle stay in the fabric when sewing stops is such a time saver. I love having a speed control and "defaults" for all of the different stitches takes alot of the guess work away. It sews so smoothly and I think it has improved the quality of my finished products. I can't wait to get home from work everyday to sit down with my Futura Quartet!
Wonderful Machine

I love my Futura Quartet SEQS-6000. I have embroidered a lot on it the past few months. I've also used it for sewing and it sews like a dream. I would suggest using Metro Thread and have your bobbins ready and full of bobbinfil. I haven't had any problems with the machine so far.
Very Disappointed
Overall Rating:
Pros: Easy To Use
Cons: Poor Quality, Expensive
I was so excited to get this machine I am an avid quilter and craft maker and have never owned an embroider machine so I thought why not get all the machines in one. I paid, for me as I am retired, a great deal of money for this machine The sewing part of the machine worked great at first until I tried using the embroidery attachment. The first time I used it everytime the pattern jumped from the end of one section to the beginning of another section the thread tension does not release and the needle breaks. After the second needle broke I can hear metal rubbing on metal inside the head of the machine. Also part of the bobbin housing has broke off. Probably because it is built of cheep plastic. This is the 4th Singer machine I have owned and always counted on Singer making only good quality. I have only had this machine since December 2011 and will have to have it repaired. The machine has great features, if it worked correctly. I wish I had spent my money on something else.
Great machine!

Cons: I Just Wish They Had A 5x7 Hoop.
I just love this machine. The stitches look professional. I love the 6x10 hoop for those bigger emb. projects. I have a Janome and a brother, and this machine seems way better. It is heavy duty and once you learn the steps it is super easy to use. You can't beat the price! Good job Singer!!!

Very nice machine. Love the large hoop. I have had no problems. I bought the SEQS-6000 the day it was introduced. Just follow the instruction book.
Love the FuturaQuartet SEQS-6000
Overall Rating:
Pros: Good Value, Great Features, Easy To Use, High Quality, Computer Friendly
Cons: None
This is an awesome machine. I have embroidered 5 towels and have made curtains etc. I love this machine it is not as hard as it looks to use.
One hint clean out your feed dog and your bobbin case hook after doing several sewing projects. Change your needle according to thread and fabric.
I like all the features this machine has to offer and there are loads. The decorative stitches are very nice and easy to use. I love using my computer with my FQSeqs-6000. I embroidered first time and did not have to fiddle with anything. the software, sewing machine and computer work hand in hand. Very nice machine and the singer quality is there.
Cadillac of machines
Overall Rating:
Pros: Good Value, Great Features, Easy To Use, High Quality, Professional Quality
The Singer Futura Quartet SEQS-6000, is truly the Cadillac of sewing machines. I love the capabilities of not having to switch to different machines to perform different tasks. I just constructed a brautiful multi layered flower girl dress with pick ups, and a gorgeous embellished veil, and i am anticipating my next usage for it. It is self explanatory. I never used any tutorial. this machine is more than I could have prayed for and the attachments are superb! I also purchased the rolling, portable machine bag which has now made it a custom cadillac!
Wonderful machine

Pros: Good Value, Great Features, Easy To Use, High Quality
I considered other brands before purchasing this machine but decided to go with this because of the price and ability to flex pay on HSN. I am really glad I made this choice. Great product. There have been some issues but because I believe in "human error" I have re-examined my actions and been able to make corrections. I have also learned that some thread works better than others for embroidery. For example, Sulky bobbin thread works best for me. I also don't lower my feed dogs when quilting. I just set my stitch length to zero. I do this because my pressure foot control got stuck one time. After I was able to get it back in place I decided to try Leah Day's method. See Free Motion Quilting project website. Anyway, hope this review helps you. Great machine! Have fun!
